I noticed that (excluding Steam) the cost of retail games come down much faster than their digital equivalent. The difference can be sometimes as much as half. This does not only end with blu-ray / dvd games, but the DLC is even more weird. For example Castlevania: LOS retails for about 17$ on amazon. However the 2 DLCs combined costs 20$. Will such inaccuracies be ironed out upcoming gen so the digital store is as competitive as retail stores? It is funny as digital versions are supposed to be cheaper because of no need of physical store space, box, manuals, etc.

The cost of digital games don't come down soon enough...
